I GOT IT FOR MY MAMA

Unsure of what to give the Mom in your life for Mother’s Day? Outside of actually remembering the occasion and giving some recognizable sign of affection and appreciation for her (which to be honest, is all we ever want), here are a few little subtle suggestions that might bring a smile and a surprise to that special Mama this year.

Who doesn’t love flowers? Farmgirl Flowers, a San Francisco based, female-owned company does the most natural, beautiful bouquets wrapped in recycled coffee bean bags for a rustic but chic aesthetic. Can’t go wrong here.
Best purchase I’ve made all year. Hands down. I’m philosophically against practical gift-giving for any occasion, but this one is an exception. The Dyson hairdryer makes the tedious, often challenging task of blow drying your hair a breeze, and dare I say, a pleasure? It’s an investment for sure, but think of all the money you’ll save on blowouts? It delivers smooth, professional results every time.
Every girl loves a pretty handbag, and this beauty from Loewe is small, smart, and super unique. I love the detailed straps on the Gate mini grain leather shoulder bag and the perfect size and look for every day.
Not your average statement belt, this reversible vintage Hermès number is just different enough to stand out. From One King’s Lane, it might not arrive in time for Mother’s Day, but this find is worth having the kid’s wrap up a photo for Mom to say it will arrive this summer.
To say I’ve clocked an embarrassing amount of hours these past couple months in this cashmere spa robe from Restoration Hardware is a serious understatement. It’s “whisper-light” and when I drive (or drove, rather) to school in my pajamas, it appears like I’ve got a cardigan on.:) I absolutely love this and it comes in a variety of colors with the option to personalize with your initials.
Last but not least, these beautiful upcycled, vintage Chanel button necklaces are a thoughtful, one of a kind gift for Mom. Truly unique and special, I always get sooo many compliments when I wear mine. Layer up or on it’s own, these little numbers are special stunners.

Whether you are a lavish gift-giver, or sentimental softie, you can’t go wrong when you put heartfelt effort and love into your Mother’s Day present. No need to go overboard; a simple card, coffee in bed, and time spent are still the best gifts in my mind, and the perfect way to deliver a whole lotta love to the Mama in your life.

Happy Mother’s Day!
